Hi COVID.
I thought I dodged the bullet for the past three years.
Not when my infected husband coughed at my face for a whole week.
Not when the mask rule lifted and I went barefaced for almost two months.
But now.
Not a COVID virgin anymore. Thank you very much.
From voluntarily living off the couch and felt weirdly good about this imaginary stranded island,
here are a few things I learned from Mr. COVID:
The world continues. I should take myself even less seriously.
I need to have a backup. Instead of hoarding everything on my shoulder, training and delegating is something I should develop BEFORE I cannot do it.
Resting feels so good. Is it the virus? Or is it the medicine? I slept more than I could imagine.
Listen to my body. Rest when I can. Do things when I can. But not forcing it.
Shower helps, warm water helps, lozenges helps, 枇杷露helps.
I am so blessed to have my husband helping with everything and people care enough to ask how I am. Thank you, I feel so loved.
I learned my lessons. So please go away now. Bye!
